Shingirai Chikoto, a 41-year-old man, died on Sunday in a strange incident in Murewa.
His body was transported to the mortuary from Kadiri Complex, situated across from Zata bottle store.
Marian Katsande, Shingirai Chikoto’s ex-wife, who resides at Makunde complex, was left shaken by the incident.
According to Mrewa Tv, it all began when Shingirai , of Munjoma village in Mutoko, got into a confrontation with his son Junior over refusing to return to their homestead.

Shingirai’s sister, Janet Tavabarika, intervened, cautioning her brother against pressuring the young boy.
The situation appeared to settle, with Shingirai eventually apologizing.
However, the peace was short-lived, as Shingirai mixed a d3adly insecticide with a t0xic brandy called Ranger and consumed it, ultimately leading to his fatal poisoning.
