The Minister of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare, Hon. July Moyo, has officially opened the Migrant Resource Centre in Bulawayo, which is set to empower, protect, and promote migrants in Zimbabwe.
The center was made possible through a partnership with the International Organization for Migration.
Sources reveal that it has become the second Migrant Resource Centre to be opened in Zimbabwe as the government strives to curb unethical and unfair recruitment practices of migrants in order to create a gateway for safe migration.
Hon July Moyo visited Bubi District to witness grain distribution. During his visit, he went through the process of distribution from verifying names and IDs of recipients. The government is committed to getting food assistance to all vulnerable people across the country.
