Congratulations to two legends of Zimbabwean football, Sunday “Mhofu” Chidzambwa and Felix Tangawarima – awarded the Lifetime Achievement in services to Coaching, and the Lifetime Achievement in services to Refereeing awards, respectively.
Sunday “Mhofu” Chidzambwa is the former Warriors’ coach and captain. Sunday is counted among the top footballers to ever emerge out of Zimbabwe. He has worked extensively in footballing circles including coaching Dynamos and made a historic qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations.
He also coached in the South African Premier League. He was the first coach to take the Zimbabwe National Soccer Team to the AFCON finals held in Tunisia in 2004 where as Tangawarima, who was the longest-serving African referee on the Fifa panel, has reached.
