A Harare man, Tabani Chihombore, has successfully obtained a protection order against his former girlfriend, Nyasha Beto, after accusing her of h@r@ssment following the end of their relationship.
The case, heard before Magistrate Narotam, as reported by H Metro detailed a series of alleged incidents stemming from Beto’s refusal to accept the breakup.
Chihombore claimed that Beto repeatedly visited his home and workplace, creating disruptive scenes.
He alleged that she told people he was broke and unable to care for their child, even going so far as to bring his clothes in a plastic bag to embarrass him in front of clients.
He further stated that Beto followed him to his parents’ home and falsely accused him of @ss@ult.
According to Chihombore, Beto hired a private investigator to track his movements, leading to further confrontations and threats.

He also claimed she threatened to leak nu_de photos of him online if he didn’t return to the relationship.
He argued her actions constituted emotional and phys!cal @buse.
Beto denied the allegations of harassment.
She countered, stating that she only visited Chihombore’s parents to request financial support for their child. She further claimed that Chihombore had physically abuse_d her on multiple occasions, incidents she claims to have reported to the police.
Magistrate Narotam granted the protection order in favor of Chihombore. She advised Beto to seek financial support for the child through the appropriate channels, namely the Maintenance Court.
