The detectives from CID Dru_gs and Narcotics in Beatrice have arr3sted Nyarai Chinyama aged 48 in connection with unlawful cultivation of dagga. Nyarai Chinyama was arr3sted at a house in New Retreat after ZRP Beatrice acted on a tipoff that Chinyama had some plants of dagga in his yard.
On November 12, 2024, the law enforcement officials were able to search and found seven plants of dagga that led to the arr3st of Chinyama.
In another case, a day before Chinyama arr3sted, a 23-year-old man from Kambuzuma, Harare was arr3sted by the detectives from CID Dr_ugs and Narcotics in connection with dru_gs. The 23 year-old man was identified as Taurai Marapira.
Marapira was arr3sted at a house along Makura Avenue in Kambuzuma for unlawful possession of 15 grammes of Chrystal Meth. The duo is expected to appear in court soon.
