A 55-year-old Ugandan man, Mutiatya, has made headlines after divorcing all three of his wives on the same day, leaving him as a single father to seven children.
The shocking move has left many in the community stunned.
According to Mutiatya, he was forced to take drastic action after his wives began to disrespect him following his job loss.

They allegedly started having affairs with other men and refused to change their behavior despite his repeated attempts to address the issues.
“I was tired of their bad behavior,” Mutiatya explained in an interview with Afrimax.
“At the beginning, they were humble and hardworking women who were ready to build a good big family. But in the end, they all started misbehaving, something I could never tolerate.”
Mutiatya claims that he makes a living by selling jewelry and other valuable items, and has even taken on the responsibility of caring for other people’s children as his own are grown and living abroad.
