Some Veterinary students of an anonymous university were made to handle a live snake for marks by their lecturer.
The lecturer considers the practice as part of their development process, hence he made it compulsory for every student to hang what appears to be a ball python on their necks or risk failing the course.

In case you’re wondering, balls pythons are not venomous, and they are usually very calm. They eat rodents and little birds and you can keep them as a pet.
