In a devastating road traffic accident which took place over the weekend on Sunday, 9th of February 2024, which resulting in de@th of a 23-year-old man.
The struck was a 23-year-old man who being run over by a donkey-drawn scotch cart and d!ed on the spot. The scotch cart did not stop after the accident.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Tsholotsho confirmed the incident and currently are investigating a fatal road traffic accident.
“Police in Tsholotsho are investigating a fatal hit-and-run road traffic accident that occurred along an unnamed road at Mazibulala Line area on 09/02/25. A 23-year-old man was run over by a donkey-drawn scotch cart and d!ed on the spot. The scotch cart did not stop after the accident,” Police Memo reads.
Similarly, Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Bulawayo Traffic West is investigating a hit-and-run road traffic accident which occurred along Ngwenya Road, near Goveya shops, on Saturday last week.
An unknown motorist hit a 30-year-old man and sped off. The victim sustained severe head injur!es.
