Man st@bbed to de@th in Zhombe
A 21-year-old man from Joseph village, Zhombe in Midlands province was k!lled in cold bl00d by a yet to be identified man who fled the scene after committing the crime. The now deceased man has identified as Lloyd Zhakata .
According to Police report, on December 30, 2024, Zhakata met the accused suspect at a bar at Joseph Village in Zhombe and the suspect had accused the victim of ass@ulting his young brother. During the argument, the suspect produced a Colombia knife and st@b Zhakata on the chest.
After committing the crime, the suspect immediately goes into hide and the Police in Kwekwe are appealing for information which may assist to identify and arr3st of the criminal.
“Police in Kwekwe are investigating a case of m-rder in which Lloyd Zhakata (21) d!ed after being stabbed with a Colombia knife on the chest at a bar at Joseph Village, Zhombe on 30/12/24.
The suspect had accused the victim of assaulting his young brother and is on the run. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” Paul Nyathi said
Meanwhile, Police in Mazowe arr3sted Elisack Pomerai (33) in connection with a case of m-rder which occurred at a shop at Jumbo Mine, Mazowe.
The suspect hit the victim, Oliver Tsikwa (38) with stones and a shovel before st@bbing him on the head several times with a Mars C11 knife after an argument over a chisel. The victim d!ed on the spot.
