MDC leader Douglas Mwonzora took to social media to respond to claims that he had lost $2,450 to a s3x worker after a night out.
An online news channel reported that the MDC leader had been robbed by a woman he had engaged for her services.
The report claimed that the unidentified woman had stolen two of Mwonzora’s cell phones and cash during their time together at a lodge.
According to the allegations, Mwonzora had booked the woman at the lodge, where she reportedly dru_gged him to sleep before making off with his belongings. Security guards at the lodge reportedly informed the news channel about the incident.

In a post on X, Mwonzora dismissed the rumors as baseless, suggesting they were part of a smear campaign to divert attention from more pressing issues.
“We stand united against the Third Term. We oppose the weaponization and politicization of food aid. We will not tolerate the wanton destruction of people’s homes. No amount of malicious propaganda or falsehoods will undermine the movement whose time has come,” he asserted.
