Portugal and Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved another momentous milestone during Al-Nassr’s Saudi Pro league win over the struggling Al-Raed.
Al-Nassr captain scored and bagged an assist as Al-Nassr thrashed Al-Raed 2-1 on Thursday in the league. According to Marca, the 39-year-old striker became the ‘first and only footballer’ in history to reach 700 official club victories.
Al-Nassr’s victory saw them close to within five points of joint league leaders Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, although both sides have a game in hand. Ronaldo now has 85 goals in 94 games for the Saudi team.
Cristiano Ronaldo will go down as one of the greatest players of all time and is already well past the 900-goal mark – something nobody else has done before. The Portuguese has had a glittering career but the veteran is not done yet.
Al-Nassr will take a break from the league when they host Al-Wasl in the AFC Champions League on Monday night.
