Controversial business man Scott Sakupwanya has embarked on a new journey towards Mabvuku constituency.He established a new football club.However,he has been critized over his new football name.
Taking to his X account, formerly Twitter, Scott Sakupwanya announced that he has established a Division one soccer team.
He revealed that his newly established football club is called Scottland FC.
“As promised, I am thrilled to announce the establishment of our Division One soccer team Scottland FC.
Sakupwanya stated that the newly formed football club is set to provide youths with an opportunity to pursue their passion for football.
He added that through his football club, he aims to not only help keep the youth away from drugs but also provide them with meaningful employment.
“By providing our youth with the opportunity to pursue their passion for football , we are not only keeping them away from the dangers of drugs but also offering them meaningful employment. Through this team, they now have a full-time job – playing football , honing their skills, and representing our Mabvuku community with pride. Together, we are investing in their future and fostering a healthier, more prosperous community for all,” he wrote.
Scott Sakupwanya’s initiative to establish a football club in Mabvuku has been applauded. However, social media users were not so impressed with the name he chose for his football club. Social media users criticized him for naming his football club ‘Scottland’. Netizens argued that he should found a better name for his club.

As much as I respect u, my brother, nothing wrong about establishing a Division 1 football club out there in Mabvuku but please can you find another well respectable & acceptable name than the so called Scottland FC never allow yourself to personalise anything to do about people.
