The 2024 Premier Soccer League champions, Simba Bhora has secured a big sponsorship deal worth US$1.5 million with Betterbrands. Betterbrands is a company which is owned by Zanu PF member of Parliament for Mabvuku-Tafara constituency and Scottland Football president Hon Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya.
According to Dandaro Online, the US$1.5 million will be spreed for three years which will see the team receive US$500,000 annually, providing a substantial boost to their finances.
Simba Bhora President, Simba Ndoro expressed his excitement about the new deal, stating that it will aid the team’s efforts to retain the championship in 2025.
The sponsorship deal was formalised in a ceremony attended by club president Simba Ndoro and Betterbrands owner Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya who is also the President of the Zifa northern region Champions, Scottland FC.
Simba Bhora is a Premier Soccer League club based in Shamva and they use Wadzanai Stadium as their home ground.
