Pearl Mbewe, the estranged wife of South African actor Sello Maake kaNcube, is seeking to retrieve her belongings from their shared home after their separation.
However, her efforts have been met with resistance.
According to reports, Mbewe enlisted the help of friends and family to get her belongings back after realizing she couldn’t handle the situation alone.
This led to a heated argument between Mbewe and her husband at their home in Dube, Soweto.

When Mbewe tried to retrieve items like her panties, shoes, and dresses, the situation escalated.
An eyewitness shared their account of the incident: “When I heard him yelling, I knew something was wrong.
There was a vehicle parked in the driveway, and furniture was being loaded onto it. Maake kaNcube was visibly agitated, shouting at the individuals assisting with the move.”
Mbewe has expressed her hopes for a peaceful resolution in a statement to Sunday World, saying, “I hope my estranged husband comes to his senses and returns all my belongings without me needing to involve the authorities.”
The couple’s separation has led to a dispute over who gets to keep certain items from their shared home. Maake kaNcube has reportedly refused to give back Mbewe’s personal belongings, including her clothes and underwear.
This has led to a confrontation between the two, which has made headlines in South Africa.
