In a devastating turn of events, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Bulawayo have confirmed a fatal traffic accident which occurred earlier this week at Plot 66 Glengarry in Bulawayo when a toddler was k!lled after being run over by an Isuzu DMax vehicle which was reversing.
According to the reports, the now deceased toddler was aged eight months. The incident occured when the toddler was sleeping near the vehicle where she had been left unattended by her mother who was harvesting tomatoes at the plot.
“The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 07/01/25 at Plot 66 Glengarry, Bulawayo. A toddler (eight months) was k!lled after being run over by an Isuzu DMax vehicle which was reversing.
The toddler was sleeping near the vehicle where she had been left unattended by her mother who was harvesting tomatoes at the plot,” Police memo reads.
The body of the vict!m was taken to the nearest hospital for postmortem.
