A video of an hilarious tradition from Kenya has gotten people talking on social media. In this video which made it’s way on X, an advanced woman is seen flogging a corpse inside a coffin, about to be b_ried. Relatives and friends of the deceased could be heard crying as the woman kept flogging the corpse
What exactly is the reason behind her actions and these traditions?
According to a reliable source, this tradition is mostly associated with the Luhya tribe of Kenya. They allegedly do that to condemn the spirit of the dead especially for those who d!ed but had some issues with the community.
So basically, they’re trying to rebuke the spirit and make sure that the spirit goes away without interfering with the upcoming society.
