Richard Chihoro, the legendary former player and long-serving team manager of Dynamos FC, has passed away at the age of 68.
Chihoro d!ed on Thursday night at a hospital in the capital, with further details surrounding his passing still to be disclosed.
Chihoro’s football career began in the late 1960s when he joined Dynamos’ junior team before progressing to the senior squad.
Although he struggled to make a significant impact as a player, he found his true calling as a team manager, a position he held for over a decade.

During his tenure with the Glamour Boys, Chihoro guided the club to multiple titles, cementing his legacy in Dynamos history.
Known by his nickname, Nyoka, Chihoro’s time at Dynamos was not without its challenges.
In the last two years, his relationship with the club soured, leading to being fired and re-hired twice before the two sides parted ways entirely in October of the previous year.
His contributions to the club and the sport will be remembered fondly by fans and players alike.
