Zachariah Olivier, a 60-year-old farm owner, and his employees, Adriaan de Wet, 19, and William Musoro, 45, are accused of m_rdering two black women, Locadia Ndlovhu and Maria Makgato, 45, who were rummaging for food at the farm’s dumpsite.
The victims were allegedly sh0t and their bodies fed to pigs.
The trio has made a second attempt to secure bail as they face charges for the heinous crime.
However, the State prosecutor, Adv. Joel Mamabolo, has expressed opposition to granting bail, citing the defense’s lack of preparation and failure to consult with the accused beforehand.
