Mushuc Runa player, Mathias Acuna was found d3ad in Ambato, Ecuador, on Saturday. Mathias Acuna was a Uruguayan footballer aged 32. According to reports from his club Mushuc Runa said on social media, with a preliminary medical report presuming it to be a case of su!cide.
“According to the preliminary medical report derived from the examination of the body of the player Mathias Acuna, it is presumed to be a case of su!cide,” Mushuc Runa said in a statement posted on Facebook.
“We are deeply sh0cked by this news and we reiterate our solidarity with his family and loved ones in this difficult moment,” another statement reads.
Before his untimely de@th, Methias had a various career that crosss multiple countries and leagues . He played for several golf clubs including Lamia in the Greek Supper League during the 2023-24 season. Acuna’s football jouney was not conventional before becoming a professional footballer.
