The United States of America’s Pentagon has established a new factory for ammunition production in bid to keep a consistent flow of arms to Ukraine.
According to sources, the factory is still under construction and it is the US’s first ever major arms plant since Russia first invasion of Ukraine.
The facility is alleged to produce 30 000 steel shells per month which have proven benefial to Ukraine’s war effort.
This establishment has sparked a worldwide debate and emotional support for the people of Ukraine.
“It’s not enough, but it’s a solid chunk“, a political commentator said.
“I don’t recall if it was on that episode or something else where it was talked about how much cheaper it is to produce shells in Ukraine compared to the US or Western Europe. I’d love to see some kind of EU program to fund military startups in the eastern states or in Ukraine“, another netizen commented.
The United States has worked with other allied powers since the beginning of Russia’s assault on Ukraine in February, 2022 through security and arms assistance costing billions of dollars.
