CNN has released a shocking video, accompanied by a trigger warning, depicting rapper Diddy ass@ulting his then-partner, Cassie, in a hotel hallway in 2016.
The footage, compiled from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, shows Diddy wearing only a white towel as he punches and k!cks Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway. The video also captures Diddy shoving and dr@gging her across the floor and throwing a vase in her direction.
Diddy and Cassie were reported to have begun dating in 2005 and ended their relationship in 2019.
The incident closely resembles a description in a lawsuit filed by Cassie in November, alleging years of s3xual @buse and other v!olence by Diddy.
Several more lawsuits followed in the subsequent months, along with a federal criminal s3x-traff!cking investigation that led authorities to raid Diddy’s mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.

The 54-year-old rapper, whose homes were recently raided by Homeland Security Investigations agents in March, has faced numerous public allegations of physical and s3xual v!olence.
Representatives for Diddy did not immediately comment on the video. He has previously denied the allegations in the lawsuits, with his lawyers asserting his innocence.
