A group of suspected thieves, aged 20 to 25, in Zimbabwe found themselves subjected to a peculiar form of punishment after being caught in the act of stealing in an unidentified ghetto suburb.
The incident occurred when the group attempted to carry out a theft, successfully obtaining some goods but failing to escape as they were apprehended by local residents.

A video circulating on social media shows the thieves surrounded by a crowd of onlookers, comprising community members who witnessed the scene unfold.
Instead of handing them over to the police, the residents decided to administer a form of street justice.
In an act of public humiliation, the men had their heads partially shaved while being filmed, resembling a ritualistic preparation.
Adding to their disgrace, the thieves were compelled to slap each other, as the crowd looked on, reveling in their punishment.
