Holy Ten has expressed his deep disappointment over the recent BBC freestyle performance by Winky D and Jah Prayzah, stating he feels “ashamed” on everyone’s behalf.
According to Holy Ten, the performance was a missed opportunity to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage.
In a candid interview with DJ Ollah 7, Holy Ten didn’t hold back his criticism.
He lamented that Winky D and Jah Prayzah, both renowned for their musical prowess, fell short during their appearance on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s AfroSounds Show.

The show, which aired as part of Zimbabwe’s 37th Independence Day celebrations, was intended to showcase the country’s talent.
Holy Ten was blunt in his assessment: “Seeing two of our top artists freestyle on BBC 1Xtra and fall short was really disappointing. It was an opportunity for us to shine and elevate our flag, but instead, it felt like we missed the mark. The Nigerians and other countries watching were supposed to be treated to much better performances than this.”
In a twist of irony, Holy Ten has recently enjoyed a significant boost in his own music career.
The rapper revealed that a recent social media buzz has dramatically increased his Spotify listenership.
Over the past 28 days, his audience has surged to 104,343 listeners, including 34,728 new fans. Despite the disappointment he feels for his peers, it seems Holy Ten’s star is on the rise.
