A sh0cking incident unfolded in Nigeria, where a woman was arr3sted for @ttempting to use her young daughter as collateral to secure a loan of $100.
The woman, who had approached a local lending agency, claimed that she needed the money to pay for urgent travel expenses to reunite with her partner, who she stated was working abroad.
In an alarming proposal, she suggested that she would leave her daughter with the lender as collateral, assuring them that she would return and repay the loan once she secured her finances.

However, bystanders grew increasingly concerned as they overheard her conversation.
They alerted the authorities, fearing that the woman intended to abandon her child.
Witnesses expressed outrage, stating, “No child should ever be treated as a bargaining chip.”
When the police arrived, they took the woman into custody for her questionable intentions. The daughter was safely taken into care by social services while investigations continue.
