Apostle B Mpatsi, a prominent pastor in Zimbabwe, has addressed the public’s confusion regarding his recent statement that m@sturb@tion is not a sin.
In a video uploaded to YouTube just hours ago, he clarified his position, asserting that while the act itself is not a sin against God, it can be exploited by Satan to render believers feeling ineffective in their sp!r!tual pursuits.
Mpatsi explained that God is not displeased by m@sturb@tion itself but is concerned with any behavior that takes control of an individual’s mind, which can lead to widespread condemnation from the community.

In the video, where he responded to various questions about his earlier teachings on m@sturb@tion, Mpatsi urged viewers to consider the issue from a biblical perspective rather than interpreting it as his personal opinion.
When answering a follower’s question about how one could engage in masturbation without harboring sinful thoughts, he emphasized the importance of defining what sin truly is. “Many Christians lack a clear understanding of the concept of sin,” he remarked.
He encouraged the audience to revisit one of his teachings on the nature of sin to gain a better understanding, stating, “Sin is not determined by our own perceptions but by what God defines it to be.”
To further support his perspective, he quoted 1 Thessalonians 4:3-6, which emphasizes God’s desire for sanctification and the avoidance of s3xual immorality, urging individuals to control their bodies in a manner that is holy and honorable, contrasting this with the behavior of those who do not know God. He warned that the Lord will punish those who engage in such sins, as he has previously cautioned.
