[VIDEO] Owen ‘Mudha’ Ncube, a close associate of Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa, including ED’s twin son (Collins) were recently overheard chanting Mnangagwa will still be in power in 2030, despite constitutional limits that restrict the presidency to two terms.
Mnangagwa is currently in his final term, set to end in 2028. Despite Mnangagwa’s own denials of seeking another term, there are precedents that suggest otherwise.
His predecessor, Robert Mugabe, initially resisted extending his rule, influenced by his close advisors, including Mnangagwa, to remain in power.
The future remains uncertain as to whether Mnangagwa will heed the constitutional term limits or yield to pressures from his inner circle to stay in power.
