Award-winning hip-hop artist Voltz JT, whose real name is Nkosinathi Sibiya, is scheduled to launch his second album on August 27, 2024. In a recent interview, Voltz shared that the album is named “NOP Makoni” after the city of Chitungwiza, where he grew up.
The album features 12 tracks and includes collaborations with both established and emerging hip-hop artists. The opening track, “Ine Basa Reyi,” features Bagga. The second track, “Ma War Vets,” was released earlier this month.
The third track, “Mweya (Remix),” features his brother, Tha Bees. Other notable tracks include “Maziso Two” as the fourth track, “Bread and Butter,” featuring Celcius, as the fifth, and “Easy” as the sixth.
The seventh track is an “Interlude,” followed by “Rima,” featuring Atenda Chinx, as the eighth track. The ninth track, “Nguva Newe,” features Poptain, and the tenth track, “Kutidzosera Kumashure,” rounds out the album. The eleventh track, “Gara Ndichauya,” features Nyasha David, and the album concludes with “Ngairire,” featuring Celcius.
