President Mnangagwa, currently on a State visit in Shenzhen, China, toured the headquarters of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese multinational in digital communications technology.
During the visit, the Zimbabwean government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei to strengthen their partnership in digital transformation.
In addition to his visit to Huawei, President Mnangagwa also toured BYD Auto, a subsidiary of BYD Company Limited, a Chinese multinational manufacturing firm.
BYD Auto specialises in the production of new energy vehicles, including battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
