Zimbabweans can now visit Russia without the need for invitations, hotel reservations, or any documentation confirming the purpose of their travel as stated in a recent update.
This policy change allows Zimbabweans to obtain an electronic visa, with registration processes taking no more than four days.
As part of this new arrangement, children under six years of age will receive their visas free of charge, a policy that also applies to citizens from Kenya and Eswatini.

The Russian government has expanded its list of countries eligible for the single-entry electronic visa (e-visa), aiming to enhance travel and promote tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between Russia and these nations.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Moscow’s embassy in Kenya announced, “The Government of Russia has expanded the list of countries whose citizens can visit the Russian Federation with a single electronic visa. The list now includes the following African countries: Kenya, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe.”
This development is expected to facilitate easier travel for Zimbabweans to Russia and strengthen relations between the two countries.
