Zimbabwean officers are actively seeking information to identify members of a mob involved in the fatal @ss@ult of an intruder.
The incident occurred early Friday morning at around 3 AM, when the victim, identified only as Honest, allegedly broke into a home and grabbed a 19-year-old woman sleeping in her bedroom.
The woman’s screams alerted neighbors, who quickly rushed to the scene and apprehended Honest before he could escape.
In a brut@l act of mob justice, the victim was @tt@cked with wooden logs, leaving him severely injured.
Tr@gically, he later succumbed to his wounds.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) issued a statement detailing the events: “Police are investigating a case of murder which occurred along Gunguwo Street, Budiriro, on 10/01/25 at approximately 0300 hours. The victim, identified only as Honest, died after being assaulted by a mob on allegations of unlawful entry.”
Following the incident, the body of Honest was taken to Sally Mugabe Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Authorities are also looking into the motive behind his unlawful entry, as it is suspected that the woman may have been targeted for s3xual @ss@ult or robbery.
The police urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to assist in their investigation.
