CHIKOMBA- Zanu PF Chikomba Ward 7 councillor Florence Mudzamiri got a free ticket into council after other parties failed to field candidates.
Mudzamiri was duly declared councillor by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) presiding officer Todd Chibengwa because she was the only candidate for the ward.
“Since there is one nominated candidate in Ward 7, I declare Florence Mudzamiri as the duly elected councillor from August 23, 2023,” said Chibengwa.
The nomination court was held at Chikomba Rural District Council (RDC) offices yesterday.
