Manhant For Street Kids Serial Killer In Harare

HARARE – The streets of Harare have become a terrifying hunting ground as a ruthless serial killer strikes fear into the hearts of the community.

In less than a week, the bodies of five homeless men have been discovered, bearing gruesome mutilations that suggest a ritualistic motive behind the murders.

In response, the police have launched a relentless manhunt to track down the perpetrator.

Police Launch Manhunt for Ritualistic Serial Killer Targeting Street Kids: 5 Homeless Men Found Dead in Harare Streets In One Week
The first unsettling discovery was made on August 28, when the lifeless body of a man in his 30s was found at the corner of Simon Muzenda and George Silundika.

This victim had been dismembered, with a gruesome detail—the missing penis.

On September 1, near First Capital Bank on the corner of Innez Terrace Road and Robert Mugabe, another horrific scene unfolded.

A homeless man lay lifeless with severe head injuries, sending shockwaves through the community.

Two days later, on September 3, the Avenues area witnessed another brutal killing, as a homeless man was found dead on a flight of stairs at Nelson Mandela and 7th Street.

Witnesses reported that he had been bludgeoned to death with a large stone, his body concealed under white sacks, and inflicted with stomach bruises and a cut in his privates.

Human body parts, including a liver, were discovered just a few meters away from the bodies of two homeless men near Mupedzanhamo in Harare. In addition, a bloodied concrete block, believed to have been the murder weapon, can be seen nearby. The clay pot found at the scene belonged to the victims.

The investigation took an even darker turn when, on Monday, two more homeless men were discovered near the Simon Mazorodze Road flyover.

Their bodies had been gruesomely opened, revealing internal organ removal, including the liver, raising suspicions of ritualistic killings.

The Hunt for the Serial Killer
Authorities are now convinced that these horrifying murders are the work of a single serial killer who preys upon vulnerable homeless men.

According to source, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, although unavailable for immediate comment due to other official duties, assures the public that the police force is dedicated to solving this harrowing case.

As the manhunt intensifies, fear grips the streets of Harare, especially among the homeless community. Concerned citizens are calling for increased police presence and protection for those at risk.

The gruesome details of these killings have left the city in shock, with residents hoping for a swift resolution to these horrifying crimes.

The discovery of five homeless men brutally murdered in such a short span has sent shockwaves through the community, emphasizing the urgent need to apprehend this ruthless perpetrator and restore a sense of safety and security to the city’s streets.
